Well, hello there! I'm Hannah O'Malley, a 24 year old natural light photographer currently located in Grand Island and shooting all over the state of Nebraska. I specialize in portrait, lifestyle, and boudoir photography. I like to think shooting with me feels like hanging out with a good friend.
My partner and I recently moved back to our home town from the Land of Enchantment, Santa Fe, NM. Coming back to the Midwest has been a bitter-sweet experience, but one thing is for sure: nothing beats Nebraska sunsets! As someone who absolutely loves natural light photography, I am more than excited for the opportunity to capture some gorgeous golden hour shots while I'm here; and fall in love with the state I grew up in all over again!
I've been dabbling with a camera for around 6 years now, and boy oh boy am I in love with this medium. Photography to me has always been an opportunity to stop and find the beauty in what's around me, and hopefully, to help you find that same beauty in yourself! I thoroughly enjoy turning the mundane into art, and I like to think my photo style can speak to that well. If you've looked through my portfolio already you will see that I'm very drawn to a unique colorful yet muted editing style. I aim to create something that is both natural and artistic simultaneously, I want you to feel something when you look at your finished images.
I've been working in the bar/restaurant industry for most of my life, which gives me a lot of freedom to explore my hobbies. I'm really into hiking and camping, foraging, craft beer, all kinds of live music, dancing, spontaneous road trips, scoring at thrift stores, looking at the stars, starting (but not finishing) embroidery projects, reading, seeing the world, searching desperately for the best sour ale at local breweries, and fixing up my soon-to-be home- a small 1988 camper.
If there's one thing I might love more than photography, it's traveling. I feel most inspired in new places and I get high off adventure, which means my prices don't spike if I have to fly across the country to see you. All I need is gas or plane tickets, and potentially lodging (car camping is a favorite pastime of mine) If you're interested in a destination shoot, or just don't live in NE, feel free to reach out to me for more details on travel prices. Bonus discounts if your location is on my bucket list! Just some of the places I dream of visiting or would love to go back to are Utah, Alaska, West Virginia, New Mexico, Montana, Oregon, Washington, Costa Rica, Tennessee, and so many more!
"Very personable, professional, and all around a great photographer. Hannah goes out of her way to make sure you’re comfortable, takes every idea you have into consideration and is willing to try it no matter how off the wall it is, and really goes the extra mile to make sure you connect and truly love the finished product. Wouldn’t go to anyone else!"
